Commissioners back Otto fire department financing plans and approve $107,733 UPS purchase for 911 system

Interim County Manager Warren Cabe asked permission to pursue a possible lease in the old building for a permanent ambulance location; commissioners gave consensus for Cabe and County Attorney Eric Ridenour to pursue lease negotiations.
Separately, Cabe presented a $107,733 bid to replace the uninterruptible power supply that powers the county 911 system, noting replacement was more cost-effective than replacing batteries in the existing unit and that the expense was already in the 911 budget. The board unanimously approved the purchase.
