Fulton County commissioners unanimously approved $159,968.15 in accounts payable and $126,747.73 in payroll at their meeting on Jan. 20 in McConnelsburg.
Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve the Jan. 20 accounts payable, which included $140,001.80 charged to the General Fund and smaller amounts across Liquid Fuels, the SFC Technology Grant, Law Library, 911, Hazmat, Domestic Relations, Capital Projects, Debt Service and Pass-through Funds. Commissioner Hann also moved to approve payroll dated Jan. 23, 2026. Both motions passed with all commissioners voting in favor.
Interim County Treasurer Amy Bishop presented other routine administrative items and the board approved a CCAP Eighth Class dues invoice for $10,323.00, a credit-card approval form for Prothonotary Stephanie Sherman, the 2026–2027 CCAP PCorP renewal application (as presented by insurance agent Bobby Snyder) and a CCAP PComp second installment invoice for $5,575 (noted as part of a total contribution of $22,300).
The minutes note a Safety Committee meeting at 10:00 a.m., a Department Head meeting at 10:30 a.m., and that the board entered executive session for personnel matters during the day; no hiring actions were recorded in the public minutes. The meeting adjourned at 1:36 p.m.
