Counsel said the board regulates about 3,800 licenses and estimated a small fiscal effect — approximately $2,400 — from eliminating a temporary six‑month license.
The vice chairman moved and the committee voted to report the committee substitute for SB 580 to the full Senate with a recommendation that it pass.
