Commissioners also renewed concerns about speeding and noise downtown and said staff should continue to evaluate enforcement tools, including revisiting earlier noise camera trials.
Several members commended the holiday tree lighting and related events; one commissioner estimated more than 12,000 attendees at recent festivities and members reminded residents of an upcoming parade that will close portions of Federal Highway.
No formal policy changes were adopted at the meeting; commissioners asked staff to continue monitoring enforcement impacts and return with information or proposals when appropriate.
