"We got a letter from our insurance company. They were gonna drop our insurance. We had several shingles missing," Sherry Woodby said while describing the condition at 5618 Huron Street. She told the board the work would match the existing dark‑gray/black color and that gutters would remain the same color.
Board members reviewed the condition and accepted the information as presented. A motion to approve the repair work passed on a roll call vote.
Board members advised the homeowner to confirm final shingle and gutter samples with staff as needed. The board did not alter the scope of the repair beyond replacing shingles and restoring gutters as described by Woodby.
