The Crawford County Board of Supervisors on Aug. 6 approved several administrative actions, including accepting a $56,327.86 bid for a new 60-kilowatt generator for the Community Health Building, setting a public hearing on a proposed property exchange with the City of Manilla for Aug. 20, 2024, at 10 a.m., and reappointing Sherri Vaughn to the Region XII Regional Housing Authority Board of Directors for a one-year term.
The meeting convened at 9:00 a.m., with Chair Jean Heiden presiding. Supervisors Schultz, Dozark, Heiden and Rosburg were recorded as present; Supervisor Muhlbauer was absent. The Board read and approved the minutes of the previous meeting.
On personnel matters the Board approved a change of status for Jennifer Macke, listed in the minutes as an on-call PRN dental hygienist in the Public Health department (the minutes record approval but do not specify who made the motion).
Supervisor Schultz moved and Supervisor Rosburg seconded a motion to approve a Notice of Public Hearing and its publication related to a proposed property exchange between Crawford County and the City of Manilla; the hearing was scheduled for Aug. 20, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. The motion passed unanimously.
Supervisor Rosburg moved and Supervisor Dozark seconded a motion to accept the bid of $56,327.86 from J.P. Electric, Ltd. for a new 60 kW generator at the Community Health Building. The motion passed unanimously.
Supervisor Rosburg moved and Supervisor Dozark seconded a motion to reappoint Sherri Vaughn to the Region XII Regional Housing Authority Board of Directors for a term of Oct. 1, 2024, to Sept. 30, 2025. The motion passed unanimously.
The Board adjourned at 10:30 a.m. The minutes note that agendas for the next meeting will be posted at the courthouse on the Friday preceding the meeting at 4:30 p.m.
