Commissioners approve BFJRA governance changes, appoint Craig Cutchall to authority board

Representatives from the Bedford Fulton Joint Recreation Authority asked the Fulton County commissioners to approve two organizational amendments and an appointment to the authority board.
Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to approve Resolution 9 of 2025, which adopts an amendment to the authority's articles of incorporation to increase the number of members on the board; the motion passed unanimously. Commissioner Wible also moved to approve Resolution 10 of 2025, which adopts an amendment authorizing the authority to appoint police officers who would have the same rights as other Commonwealth police officers with respect to authority property; that motion also passed unanimously.
Following the resolutions, the commissioners approved the appointment of Craig Cutchall to a one-year term on the Bedford Fulton Joint Recreational Authority, with the term expiring Jan. 3, 2027.
