At the March 23 meeting the Kelloggsville Board of Education reviewed Goal F, focused on organizational effectiveness, and received progress reports from district staff on human resources, operations and technology.
District staff outlined supporting actions that include monitoring online HR functions, developing a timeline for converting to new financial software, and creating an employee years-of-service recognition program planned for 2026–27. Mr. Hallo said progress on timelines was about 90% complete, with timesheet implementation remaining. Facilities notes included a Food Service lift gate that needs immediate replacement, outstanding work on the new bus garage (a power switch, camera installation and key-fob entry), and continued evaluation of energy-efficient food service equipment upgrades. On technology, staff said the district is nearing the end of its E-Rate cycle and will keep current servers in place for cost reasons; the ISD complimented the district's cybersecurity efforts.
Board members congratulated the robotics and bowling teams and thanked retirees for their service during the meeting's member remarks.
