The Boca Raton City Council on Monday adopted Resolution 132‑2025, imposing fire services assessments for fiscal year 2025–26 and leaving the residential assessment unchanged at $155.
Sharon McGuire, OMB director, told the council the staff is not recommending any changes to the fire assessment fees: "We are not recommending any changes to the fire assessment fees, so we are just going forward with the same fees as $155 for a residential rate." After a brief public hearing with no speakers, the council adopted the resolution by roll call, 5–0.
The resolution establishes the assessment roll and rates for residential, commercial and industrial property for the coming fiscal year.
