CITY OF BOCA RATON — At a Sept. 8 Boca Raton City Council workshop, parks staff presented a multi-part plan to activate Wildflower Park that emphasizes fitness, public art and family-oriented programming and aims to have activity on the site every day by 2026.
Staff said the strategy mixes “passive” installations (swings, murals and asphalt art), vendor-led opportunities such as food trucks, staff-led programs including monthly recreation field days and pop-up events timed to downtown activity. “We’re trying to bring a space to residents that focuses on fitness, art and community experiences,” a staff presenter said.
