On Head Start business the commission approved the ADLC Head Start 2024 training materials and responsibilities and adopted the ADLC Head Start non‑federal share policy and associated forms. The commission also adopted Resolution 26‑07 designating county holidays for 2026 and Resolution 26‑08 authorizing the CEO to execute special‑event permits for Easter egg hunts on county property.
Appointments and reappointments approved included Nicole Klein to the County Tax Appeal Board, Camille Erickson to the Public Housing Authority Board, and Dan Reardon to the planning board (the commission recorded public comment in favor of Reardon). The commission approved multiple annual special‑event permits including those for the Anaconda Hurricanes (Charlotte Yeomans Complex) and the Dead Ringer Horseshoe Club state qualifier at Washoe Park, both pending certificates of insurance where required.
