Fulton County commissioners approve bills, a food-program sub-agreement and several departmental requests

FULTON COUNTY — The Fulton County Board of Commissioners on Feb. 10 approved routine payments and several departmental actions, including a Sub-Agreement with the Fulton County Food Basket to administer the State Food Purchase Program (SFPP).
The board approved accounts payable dated Feb. 3, 2026, totaling $91,872.06. The minutes list a fund-level breakdown: General Fund $75,212.91; SFC Technology Grant $153.17; SFC Evidence Based Practice $492.80; Law Library $172.69; 911 $2,546.01; Domestic Relations $794.48; Capital Projects $12,500.00.
Food Basket Director Sue Cubbage told commissioners that state funds for the SFPP will now be sent directly to the county rather than to the Food Basket, which requires the county to name an administrator by Sub-Agreement. Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to approve and execute the Sub-Agreement between the County of Fulton and the Fulton County Food Basket, Inc.; the motion passed unanimously.
Other approvals recorded in the minutes:
• A travel request allowing Services for Children Director Christine McQuade to attend the Chief Justice Max Baer's Children's Roundtable Summit in Hershey, Pa., April 22–24, 2026 (motion approved).
• A Citgo tire quote for $640.00 to buy four new tires for a Services for Children vehicle so it can pass inspection (motion approved).
• A Certification Statement for the fourth quarter of 2025, submitted by Services for Children Fiscal Technician Stephanie Mellott (motion approved).
The meeting also included a demonstration of the Chief 360 Mobile product for Fire & EMS by McConnellsburg Volunteer Fire Chief Pete Lynch, Fulton County resident Jim Pittman and EMA/911 Director Brian Barton; the demonstration was shown to the commissioners with no formal action recorded in the minutes. The meeting adjourned at 11:20 a.m.
