Domestic Relations Director Tina Gress submitted a letter of retirement after 25 years with Fulton County, and the board of commissioners accepted it with regret, setting an effective date of July 11, 2026. Commissioner Randy H. Bunch thanked Gress for her long service and for coming in early to facilitate a smoother transition.
Gress told commissioners she has worked since her teenage years in roles including work with the Fulton County Newspaper, as a Realtor, and on the Fulton County Medical Center board of directors. "I have worked my entire life since a teenager," the transcript records; the board acknowledged her decades of county service.
Separately, the board approved the hiring of Laurel Griest as Office Deputy I for the Prothonotary's Office, effective March 4, 2026. HR Administrator Mary Huston presented the hiring recommendation; Franklin/Fulton County Court Administrator Rebekah Reigner participated via Zoom. Commissioner Bunch moved to hire Griest and the motion carried unanimously.
A brief Salary Board convened at 10:41 a.m. to set the new hire's salary; separate salary-board minutes are on file, the commissioners said. No salary amount was recorded in the public minutes supplied.
The commissioners did not take additional personnel actions in open session on the retirement or the new hire; the record shows separate executive sessions for personnel matters at other points in the meeting.
