Dubois County awards bridge contracts to C&R Construction and Blankenberger Brothers

Leffert also noted that deck overlay work for Bridges 107 and 240 is expected to begin in spring 2026; the plan is to close both bridges concurrently with anticipated closures of about 30–35 days each. The bid opening earlier in the meeting recorded several other bidders and quotes, which were taken under advisement prior to award.
The commissioners did not identify individual movers or seconders in the minutes; the record states the motions were carried unanimously. County staff will coordinate schedules and contractor notices as projects proceed.
