The Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Commission reviewed several routine administrative resolutions on Jan. 6 and placed each on the agenda for formal action.
Resolution 26-01 would set registration and inspection fees under Ordinance 256 (vacant-structure registry) at $300 per year for registration (starting in year two) and $25 per inspection; staff said the fees are unchanged from prior schedules and that money collected will be deposited into a fund restricted to nuisance-abatement purposes.
Resolution 26-02, a building-permit fee schedule for calendar year 2026, had no changes; staff recommended reaffirmation. Resolution 26-03 restated the county's official posting places, including the county website, the new large bulletin board at the CEO's office, the public health department and the public library.
Commissioners asked clarifying questions and placed all three resolutions on the agenda for formal adoption at a later meeting.
