The commission authorized payment of claims numbered 148811 through 148891 totaling $456,327.96 after no public objections were raised. An annual task order under the master contract with the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services was approved to reimburse county environmental health inspections of licensed establishments. The commission also approved a draft master service agreement and proposed revisions for special lighting districts and fire districts to modernize longstanding district documents.
The commission approved a Bowman Airfield Airport Layout Plan (ALP) grant application and associated AGIS survey update; staff said lidar data could be collected by drone or manned aircraft depending on cost and availability. Special-event permits were granted for a Winter Festival on Feb. 21, 2026 (Kennedy Commons) and the annual chocolate, wine and cheese fundraiser on Feb. 7, 2026 (Hirsch Free Library).
The board approved reappointments to the Board of Adjustments for Jerry Arneson and Steve Boyer. In new business the commission approved Amendment No. 9 to the Healthy Montana Families master agreement (Parents as Teachers home visiting program) for the next federal fiscal year in the amount of $89,771.
