In board comments Supervisor Foley requested two adjournments in memory of Joel Brodowski, an Orange County Fire Authority employee who died on Sept. 22, 2024, and of Carly (spelled 'Carlie' in the record) Peterson, a Laguna Beach native who died Sept. 10, 2024. Foley provided biographical remarks about both and asked colleagues to adjourn the meeting in their honor. The chair announced the next board meeting is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 8, 2024, and adjourned the session.
