The grant application requests $163,060 in administrative funding (local share $24,459) and $175,160 in combined capital funding (local share $17,516), for a total request of $338,220 and a local share total of $41,975. The county currently operates a fleet that includes four lift-equipped high-top transit vans, one ramp-equipped minivan, four minivan/crossovers and three high-top transit vans, which the application notes are used to deliver coordinated services.
There were no public comments during the hearing. The board returned to regular session and approved the resolution and local funding on a motion by Martha Hicks, seconded by Dennis Aldridge; the motion carried unanimously (5-0).
