The Board approved minutes from Feb. 24 and March 3 (motion by Vanden Bosch, second by Altena). Payroll Warrant Register totaling $290,606.24 and the Payroll Disbursement Register totaling $344,609.94 were reviewed and approved. The minutes list a handwritten claim of $96,068.26 (Sanford Health Plan) and another of $571.77, and a claims batch dated March 10 totaling $129,536.42 covering multiple vendors; the Board approved the claims (motion by Scholten, second by Birkey).
On licenses, the Board approved renewal of the liquor license for Otter Valley Country Club (motion by Altena, second by Scholten) and for Rock River Golf & Country Club (motion by Birkey, second by Scholten).
Personnel items recorded in the minutes included the resignation of Kane Spencer from a Maintenance II position in Secondary Roads (last day March 27, 2026) and the promotion of Tasha Bus to Administrative Assistant/Sanitarian for Public Health at a pay rate of $23.90 per hour effective Feb. 23, 2026. The Board also agreed to allocate $10,400 from the incentive fund for FY2027 to pay one‑half of the County Attorney’s secretary’s salary, with annual reevaluation.
