Commissioners corrected and clarified figures during the discussion and asked staff to verify trade-in calculations and attachment line items before final selection.
No final award was made. The commission agreed to "look at specs and make sure everything's correct" and to place a single selection item on next Monday’s agenda so the body could pick a vendor after staff’s verification. Vendor representatives attended and announced company names for the record.
Commissioners emphasized the importance of confirmed specifications, the county’s right to negotiate trade-ins and the multi-year buyback guarantees when comparing long-term value. The commission did not approve purchase funds at the meeting; staff will return with corrected figures and a single recommendation.
