The board also approved hiring Madison Jatori for a temporary administrative assistant position supporting extension. Commissioners discussed an expected start date in mid‑month (the 18th was cited) before approving the hire. The motion to hire was made and seconded and carried with one member absent.
The personnel approvals were routine actions taken near the start of the meeting. The county’s paid‑time and start‑date arrangements were left to staff to finalize before the new hires begin.
