The Pacific County Board of County Commissioners on June 30 approved an addendum to a real estate purchase and sale agreement with Harbor Rock that moves the scheduled closing date from July 1, 2025, to July 11, 2025 and authorizes the chair to sign the amended agreement.
The motion to approve the addendum was offered by an unnamed commissioner and was seconded by the chair. "The county is excited to move forward with this purchase and acquisition of this lovely piece of property here," said Mister Blackinger, who explained the county needed additional time to complete the closing and that "all other elements of the agreement" would remain in effect.
The chair called for a vote; two "aye" votes were recorded and the chair declared the amendment approved. The motion text on the record directed that only the closing date be changed and that all other terms and conditions of the purchase and sale agreement remain in full force and effect.
County officials confirmed the buyer's attorney agreed to the revised closing date. The board announced the county is expected to take ownership following the July 11 closing. The special meeting was adjourned at 2:02 p.m.
The action amends the closing date only; no other changes to price, contingencies, or contractual obligations were stated in the meeting record.
