Commissioners adopt impressed fund to handle cash at 2025 Pacific County Fair

The Pacific County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution No. 2025-051 on Aug. 19, 2025, to establish an impressed fund for the 2025 Pacific County Fair to allow staff to make change and handle cash at the fair.
The motion to adopt the resolution was made by a committee member and seconded. During discussion the Chair noted the Treasurer’s office had previously handled fair funds but that fair staff would need on-site authority to manage cash and change; the Chair also noted an expected staff member (Jennifer) was absent. The Chair called the vote and members responded in the affirmative; the Chair announced the motion carried.
The resolution gives explicit, limited authority for on-site cash handling at the county fair to support operations. No decisions were announced from the earlier executive session held immediately prior to the reconvened open meeting.
The Board adjourned the meeting at about 3:35 p.m.
