Nemaha County Board approves motor-vehicle tax exemption for Peru State Foundation, tables volunteer rescue request

The application listed a 2024 Ford Edge as the vehicle for which the exemption was sought.
The board also recorded that Hearts United for Animals has filed an appeal of a denied Form 457 application and that a hearing before the Nebraska Tax Equalization and Review Commission is scheduled for March 4, 2025. The county clerk noted the notice of hearing and the appeal had been filed with the commission.
