Public Works: Commissioners approved repairs to a 10-ton HVAC unit at the Public Safety Building by Botchers Heating and Cooling for $5,926.58 to be paid from cumulative reserve fund #197. Public Works staff explained that parts were covered under warranty but plumbing issues during installation required an upgrade and the original installer is no longer in business.
Parks and events: The board approved a facility-use application for Moorhead Park for the Sea Stone Clam Camp in October 2025, subject to receipt of insurance and a granted exception to the county policy requiring a 60-day advance application. Commissioners discussed prior uses and weather considerations.
Information technology: The board approved two IT server purchases from Dell—a PowerEdge R6715 SQL database server (item 11) for $18,900 to increase database capacity and network management, and a PowerEdge R6715 domain server for the Department of Public Works Raymond office (item 12) for $7,700. County leaders noted the older county servers dated from 2009 and 2015 respectively and said replacements are necessary for ongoing services, including support for mobile data computers used by police agencies.
Community events and finance: Commissioners confirmed the county fair dates for 2026 (mid-August, Wednesday–Saturday, 10 a.m.–9 p.m.) and approved a $269 refund to nonprofit Random Acts of Kindness for a booth rental the group could not occupy this year. All motions passed by voice vote; the transcript records ayes but no roll-call tallies.
