Public comment: Sheila Rickers, who identified herself as a frequent transit rider, urged the county and transit board to put proposed schedule changes on hold and said introducing electric/hybrid buses and eliminating certain routes (she referenced a Route 50 connection) would hurt riders who rely on those services. "It is not going to work ... it will really piss people off," Rickers said; commissioners said all three sit on the transit board and would raise the concerns with transit staff.
The board recessed for two executive sessions (personnel and potential litigation) and returned without taking action before adjourning at about 12:01 p.m.
