Following an executive session, the board approved issuing a request for proposals to clean up county-owned parcel 73026085003 (4812 N Place, Seafiew), which county staff identified in the meeting as the 'Rosemary Lee property.'
County general-administration staff said the RFP was developed using a Municipal Research and Services Center (MRSC) template and has undergone legal review; a building inspector also reviewed the site to check for hazardous materials and the RFP includes permit/testing language if asbestos or other hazards are discovered. Staff said the awarded contractor will be required to obtain permits and will have 60 days to complete the work after contract award.
The board moved, seconded and approved issuing the RFP; staff indicated the item had multiple internal reviews and that the RFP process will proceed to solicitation and award.
