The Fulton County Board of Commissioners on Feb. 10 approved routine minutes and fiscal items, authorized travel and a vehicle purchase, and heard a demonstration of Fire & EMS equipment.
Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to approve the Feb. 3, 2026 Commissioners' minutes and the Jan. 27, 2026 Retirement Board minutes; both motions passed unanimously. Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve Accounts Payable dated Feb. 3, 2026, in the amount of $91,872.06; the clerk recorded that funds included $75,212.91 for the General Fund and $12,500.00 for Capital Projects among smaller special funds.
Other routine approvals included a travel request for Services for Children Director Christine McQuade to attend the Chief Justice Max Baer's Children's Roundtable Summit April 22โ24, 2026, in Hershey; a Citgo tire quote of $640 for the Services for Children vehicle so it can pass inspection; and a Certification Statement for the fourth quarter of 2025 submitted by Services for Children Fiscal Technician Stephanie Mellott. Each of those motions was moved and recorded as approved "all in favor." Commissioner Wible moved to adjourn at 11:20 a.m.
McConnellsburg Volunteer Fire Chief Pete Lynch, Fulton County resident Jim Pittman and EMA/911 Director Brian Barton presented a Chief 360 Mobile demonstration for Fire & EMS during the meeting; no formal action on the demonstration was recorded.
