Fire Chief Cody Tosher recommended confirmation of probationary firefighters Alec Buffington and Hunter Kerr following completion of their one-year probationary periods. The commission moved, seconded and approved the promotions unanimously. Chief Tosher invited families for a badge‑pinning after the vote.
The commission also approved a community fireworks/fundraising event (Stars and Stripes celebration) by the Anaconda Fireworks Committee pending receipt of a certificate of insurance and sanitation/vendor coordination.
