Chair reported five items comprising most of the total: a $150,000 Black Diamond Car Wash construction grant; $116,450 for attic abatement; $67,268 for the Superfund IC program; $62,390.25 to TriZero Corporation for streetlight improvements; and $53,400 to New England Company for auditing services for the fiscal year ending 06/24. Commissioners moved and seconded a motion to authorize payment; the motion passed unanimously, recorded as Ayes 5–0.
The meeting also approved minutes for the commission meeting of April 1, 2025, and the commission work session of April 8, 2025. Other routine consent items recorded in the meeting included acceptance of a resignation from the Opportunity Mosquito Control Board and the revocation of a kennel license for Danae Beachley and Jared Otto at 801 West 7th Street, each approved by vote.
