The Lewis and Clark County Board of Commissioners approved multiple consent and housekeeping items during its Sept. 16 meeting, including a fiscal-year certification, a trail construction contract, and a resolution to begin a public process on administrative fees.
Roger Baltz, Chief Administrative Officer, presented the Fiscal Year 2026 Equitable Sharing Agreement and Certification and recommended approval; the board approved the item on a 3-0 vote. Angie Hubbard, Planner II, presented a contract with Phat Trak Trail Company funded by a Trail Stewardship Grant for construction of a Northstar Park trail not to exceed $43,000, performance through Dec. 31, 2025; the board approved the contract 3-0.
Greg McNally, Planning Projects Manager, presented Resolution 2025-104, the county's intent to adopt a schedule of administrative fees for the Community Development and Planning and Public Works departments; staff recommended approval and the resolution passed 3-0. The board opened a public comment period through 4 p.m. on Sept. 29, 2025 and scheduled a public hearing for Sept. 30, 2025 on the fee schedule.
