The Anaconda Deer Lodge County Commission moved a set of routine items onto next week's agenda, including personnel housekeeping and scheduled proclamations.
The commission agreed to remove Sandra Waver from the Mosquito Control Board after she moved out of state and to consider reappointing Rose Nynman to the Historic Resource Board. Three candidates (Annette Smith, Amy Lynn Kellogg and Deborah Gorman Bader) were presented for the Urban Wildlife Management Taskforce and the commission placed the appointment item on the agenda for action.
The commission also scheduled several proclamations โ including International Firefighters Day, National Correctional Officers Week, Childcare Provider Appreciation and National Police Week โ to be read at next week's meeting. Area fire officials attended and expressed gratitude for recognition and paid tribute to the late Chief Bill Converse.
