Councilmembers voted to approve roadway improvements for High Desert Park that would add McLaws Road as a new access and make Rodeo Road the main public access, with bathrooms and parking. Town staff said the planned roadway corridor will be a 50-foot right-of-way with a utility public easement and a 24-foot engineered travel lane. Councilmember Byron Lewis moved to approve the project “conditioned on obtaining the rows and easements,” and Reid Stinnett seconded the motion; it passed as recorded by the minutes.
