Lima City Council honors 11-year-old Samaria Hall for national Ultimate performance

Council members offered praise before the vote. Councilor Glenn said, "I'm very excited for her," and later noted, "Good job." Councilor Jones added, "We're proud of you," and encouraged Hall to "keep it up." The motion to adopt the resolution was moved and seconded and passed by an 8-0 voice vote.
The resolution recognizes Hall as a young leader who brings pride to the city and encourages continued community support for youth activities. The council invited Hall to speak at the microphone; a brief exchange of thanks followed.
The resolution was adopted on its first reading and the council noted it will present the signed copy to Hall and her family.
