Roggow chosen chair as Lincoln County Planning Commission sets officers for the year

At its Aug. 12 meeting the Lincoln County Planning Commission elected Brent Roggow chair, Aaron Edwards vice-chair and (by separate vote) Judy Pederson vice-chair/secretary; nominations included an absent nominee and an incumbent stepping down from a vice-chair role.
The Lincoln County Planning Commission elected its officers for the coming term during the Aug. 12 meeting.
Commissioner Lee Davies nominated Brent Roggow for chair; Aaron Edwards nominated Judy Pederson. A roll-call vote elected Brent Roggow chair (ayes: Boden, Merritt, Eickhoff, Roggow, Moorhead, Davies, Miller; nay: Edwards). The commission then opened nominations for vice-chair; Roger Merritt nominated Aaron Edwards, and Edwards later nominated Judy Pederson for the vice-chair position. A roll-call vote elected Aaron Edwards vice-chair by unanimous vote of those present.
For the combined vice-chair/secretary role, Merritt nominated Judy Pederson and the commission approved the nomination by roll-call vote. The meeting record notes that Judy Pederson was absent when nominated and voted for in a roll call among members present; Zak Eickhoff had requested to step down from the vice-chair role prior to elections.
The new officers listed in the minutes are Chair Brent Roggow, Vice-Chair Aaron Edwards, and Vice-Chair/Secretary Judy Pederson.
