Paragonah, Utah — The Paragonah Town Board voted Sept. 10 to adopt a new official town logo by combining the mountain design from contest entry #1 with the creek-and-year element from entry #4.
Board members reviewed seven submissions and narrowed the choices to entries #1 and #4 before voting. Mayor Todd Robinson moved to combine the two designs; Travis Isaacson seconded. All five board members present voted yes.
After the selection, the board disclosed authorship of the two chosen entries: Town Treasurer Sharrah Brewster submitted entry #1 and Town Clerk Jayne Stones submitted entry #4. The board discussed integrating the top of #1 and the bottom of #4, and directed staff to proceed with a finalized artwork file for use on official materials.
The decision followed routine agenda business and occurred without dissent. The board did not specify a timeline for rolling out the new logo on signage or printed materials.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Todd Robinson and included routine approvals of minutes and other items before the logo vote.
