"This generator will support our Jail and Sheriff’s office in the event of a routine power outage or disaster," Barrier said when presenting the request.
Commissioner Wood Hall Young Jr. moved to adopt the amendment, and Commissioner Robert Burleson seconded. The board approved the amendment unanimously with those in attendance (4-0). The budget amendment was recorded as a $62,000 debit to Capital Outlay (105250.7400) and a $62,000 credit to Fund Balance Appropriated (103990.0000).
