The Grove City Planning Commission recommended that City Council approve a lot split at the Pinnacle Woods development that would separate roughly 0.289 acres from an existing 8.889-acre tract.
City development staff told the commission the split would create a rear lot to be added to the property at 1203 Pinnacle Club Drive to prevent a parcel from being landlocked and to bring the lot into conformance with the PUD zoning text. "After review and consideration, the development department recommends planning commission approve the lot split with the stipulation as noted," staff said.
Applicant Alex Benson identified himself for the record and summarized the request. A commissioner disclosed a conflict and recused themselves from the item. With no substantive public questions or objections recorded, a motion to recommend approval was made and seconded; recorded affirmative votes included Ms. Wendlinger, Mr. Farnsworth, Mr. Titus and Mr. Roach.
The recommendation forwards the matter to City Council, which must take final action on the lot split. The development department indicated the approval would be subject to a stipulation noted in the staff report; the commission did not record additional conditions on the record at the hearing.
