Mr. Brown, the agency—s director, told the board that "portions of the land to be redeveloped are within the community redevelopment area and would be eligible for funding from the tax increment that we earn in the downtown. So some of the infrastructure or other costs would likely be funded from the TIF." He said the agency would need to do additional work to determine specifics about participation.
