PONDERA COUNTY, Mont. — The Pondera County Board of Commissioners approved a slate of citizen appointments to county advisory boards and set commissioner representative assignments for 2026.
On motion, commissioners approved appointments and reappointments through 2028 across multiple boards: Airport (John Shevlin, Duane Habets), Conrad Cemetery (David Egan), Valier Cemetery (Donald Dodge, Jeremy Clifford), Community Service (Ed Erickson), Health (Ruth Erickson, Pam McFarland, Brian Garnett), Park (Jason Habets, John Shevlin, McKenzie Graye, Kenneth Wheeler Sr.), Tax Appeal (Cody Seccomb), TV (Robert Hjelm), Weed (Chris Ellis, Dan Rouns, Koltin Christiaens), and Building Inspection (Ted Kronebusch, Fred Morris, Chad Rambo, Frosty DeBoo). The board also assigned commissioner representatives to county boards and regional/state boards for the year: Kuka (Airport, Weed, Many Rivers, Northcentral Regional Detention Center, Whole Health Care, Sweetgrass Development), Drishinski (Pondera County Council On Aging, Northern Montana Joint Refuse Disposal District, Northern Montana Transit Authority, North Central Area Agency on Aging), and Morren (Pondera Regional Port Authority, Opportunities Inc., and other assignments).
