The resolution lists estimated homeowner fiscal impacts: approximately $9.36 per year on a $100,000 market-value home; $28.09 on a $300,000 home; and $64.31 on a $600,000 home. The board adopted the resolution on Feb. 25, 2026 by a recorded 3–0 vote.
Commissioner Thomas A. Kuka moved for placement of the measure on the June ballot; Commissioner Zane Drishinski seconded the motion and it carried. The resolution directs the County Clerk and Recorder, in consultation with the County Attorney, to finalize ballot language for submission prior to statutory deadlines.
Next steps: if voters approve the measure on June 2, funds would be available for the stated capital and infrastructure needs at the county-owned facility leased to Logan Health.
