Representatives of the Mental Health Association of Franklin and Fulton Counties told the Fulton County Board of Commissioners on Jan. 27 that they are looking for office space in Fulton County and provided commissioners with a handout describing services available in the county.
Community Support Program Manager Carol Slemmer and Executive Officer Scott Graham met with commissioners and said the association provides multiple support services. Graham told the board that “nobody was using the contract for Peer Support Services,” and the association asked the county to consider options for local office space to improve access.
The presentation was informational; the association left a packet of materials with each commissioner and no formal county action was taken at the meeting. Commissioners received the information for their consideration as staff and the association continue conversations about possible facility space and service delivery going forward.
