Staff reported the applicant submitted new elevations after the Planning & Zoning hearing that depict a two‑car garage; because new evidence was provided, staff recommended remanding the case back to Planning & Zoning for further review. Council moved and unanimously voted to remand Z2026‑002 to the commission.
Both actions were procedural and technical: the UDC amendment creates flexibility for adaptive reuse of industrial buildings with an SUP, and the remand ensures Planning & Zoning reviews the applicant’s revised materials.
Next steps: The UDC amendment becomes effective per the ordinance schedule; Z2026‑002 will be reconsidered by the Planning & Zoning Commission at a later meeting once staff processes the new elevations and updates the case packet.
