Anaconda Deer Lodge County commissioners on Feb. 4 approved routine claims, contracts and special-event permits and set hearings for two land- and code-related items.
The commission authorized claims numbered 146738–146809 totaling $308,894.70 after a motion and second; the measure carried unanimously. Commissioners also approved a Montana Department of Commerce Community Development Block Grant program contract amendment (MT-CDBG-PL-22-20A/M TDashCDBGDashPLDash22Dash208) and a Trihydro Corporation task order for 2025 ADLC road improvements; both passed on motions and unanimous votes.
Contracts approved included a five-year copier/printer lease and service agreement with Kelly Crete to serve the planning department, library, clerk and recorder, sanitarium and extension offices. The commission also approved a contract between ADLC and a local animal-services provider (Pippa and Pits) and a grant for the county junk-vehicle graveyard program; those measures were moved, seconded and passed unanimously.
The board set Feb. 25, 2025 as the public hearing date for the Tech Vista (Cat Vista Monitor/Tech Vista Minor Subdivision) final plat by SSGH 2 LLC. It also set a public hearing for an amended Anaconda Deer Lodge County ordinance (No. 2-79, amending 1-21A) to correct drafting language; that hearing was set for Feb. 25.

The commission adjourned after announcing upcoming public meetings and task-force sessions. The next commission work session is scheduled for Feb. 11 at 6 p.m. in the courthouse.
