"Missed 5 calls due to being on previous call (picked up by AMR / Park City)," the report states. Gurchiek told the committee the new ambulance has been striped, stocked, licensed and is being used in a soft rollout while crews train on the vehicle.
The ambulance report shows roughly 30% of calls originated in Ward 5 during the reporting period; the department is working through staff recertifications (due March 31) and continuing outreach with County Commissioner Chris White and Congressman Troy Downing to discuss broader EMS needs in the region. The department also noted two mutual‑aid responses during the period (to Joliet and Park City) and listed average and longest delay times for the month.
