University Senate representative urges trustees to preserve shared governance

She recommended renewed regular conversations between trustees and senate representatives and said shared governance requires assuming good faith and cultivating empathy.
The board accepted the presentation and thanked Tolliver; Trustees indicated willingness to reestablish regular conversations with the University Senate's Conference.
