The Boca Raton City Council confirmed several advisory‑board appointments at its Feb. 25 meeting, filling seats on boards that advise city staff and elected officials.
Applicants for the Citizens Pedestrian and Bikeway Advisory Board included Jelisa Caballero and Sierra Elise Dallas. An initial vote appointed Caballero to the bikeway board by a 3–2 margin. Caballero then asked to be considered for the Community Advisory Panel; the council nominated four applicants and later appointed Caballero to the Community Advisory Panel by a 4–1 vote. Council then reconsidered the earlier bikeway board appointment and inserted Sierra Elise Dallas as the bikeway appointee so both applicants were placed on boards.
The council also nominated and appointed Erez Barnour to the Community Appearance Board and reappointed three incumbents — Ms. Bobich, Gary O’Donnell and Tom Thayer — to the Marine Advisory Board; those appointments were approved by voice vote.
Council members thanked all applicants and encouraged continued civic engagement.
