The Cody Planning and Zoning Adjustment Board welcomed new appointee Erin Welty and confirmed its officers for 2026 at a Jan. 15 meeting.
Erin Welty, who introduced herself at the meeting, said she works for the Greater Yellowstone Coalition and has lived in Cody on and off, most recently since 2021. "I have deep ties to Wyoming and the Bighorn Basin, and I have experience in planning and zoning on the other side of the table in the past," Welty said.
The board then conducted roll call and accepted nominations for officers. Dan Shine was nominated for chair and Dan Holler for vice chair; with no additional nominations both positions were accepted for the coming year, the chair said.
The meeting continued into regular business after the brief introductions and elections.
