Administrative Director Malia Collins presented 2025 rental data for the Bluff Community Center (BCC) and proposed daily rates (BCC $100/day; FMK $75/day; Pavilion $50/day) and removal of half- and full-day rental distinctions.
Mayor Josh Ewing recommended waiving fees for "Bluff-based Non-profits" and suggested establishing set rates for other nonprofits and government entities. Council discussion framed BCC rentals as a community service rather than an enterprise fund; several members noted that charging below-cost rates could be used as in-kind match for grant applications. Collins was asked to draft a formal BCC Fee & Regulation Policy and to include the fee schedule in materials for the April 7 public hearing.
No vote or final fee decision occurred at the work session; the council will review the draft policy and consider fee schedule placement in the master fee schedule during the public hearing process.
