The Fulton County Board of Commissioners voted Jan. 27 to accept a CES Engineering quote to provide professional engineering services for improvements to the Warfordsburg Senior Center and approved a county credit card for the Mapping and Planning Director.
Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to accept the CES Engineering quote to cover restroom renovations, installation of a new security camera system, and a mill-and-overlay of the existing parking lot, driveway and accessible walking path for the Warfordsburg Senior Center; the minutes do not record a dollar amount for the quote. Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to amend the agenda to include credit card approval for Mapping and Planning; the board then approved a county credit card for Mapping and Planning Director Thomas Peppernick to make departmental purchases, as submitted by Fiscal Administrator Sue Reed.
Both motions were recorded as passing unanimously. The engineering work and the credit card are intended to support facility improvements and more efficient procurement for mapping and planning operations; the minutes note that more detailed contract documents and invoices are on file with county offices.
Next steps for the senior center project and credit card use will be reflected in departmental procurement records and any subsequent contract documents.
